This class will be using “gelatin” plates to print on without
the use of a press. Rolling on ink with brayers, we lay down
pre-cut silhouette images as well as other flat items for a
variety of impressions. This form of printmaking is conducive
to “happy accidents” and playful combinations. We will be
able to produce several layers on one piece of paper for
more complex compositions! Once the prints have dried we
will embellish them with pencil and colored pencil to add
more color and depth.
