Class Description

a studio class for individuals who feel comfortable with the fundamentals of handbuilding or wheelthrowing, but are eager to improve their skills. Creative exploration will be encouraged through demonstration and critiques.

Special Notes

Open studio hours are available during which time students can work in addition to their scheduled class hours.

Required Supplies

25 pounds of clay and accompanying glazes and firing included in the class fee.

Dodie Campbell

Dodie graduated with a BFA in ceramics from Utah State University and an MFA in ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She has been teaching beginning and advanced wheelthrowing at Sawtooth since 2006. When not running or driving her kids around town, you may find her in the studio stamping, carving, or drawing on the surface of her pots.
