If you share your life with a furry kid, you’ve probably discovered how challenging it is to get a photograph that really captures the cuteness you love so much. This class will address the most common problems you are likely to encounter when photographing a pet and what you can do to get better results. We will touch on a variety of issues ranging from lighting concerns, camera settings and animal wrangling. Once you are armed with some fresh ideas, we will bring in some dog models and let you practice your new tricks. Finally, we will allow time for you to review your images to learn from them by asking questions and sharing with your classmates. You will head home with a fresh perspective and renewed energy to make that perfect picture.

  • Students need a working camera (a DSLR is recommended, but not required) and a basic working knowledge of how to use it.
