Create this elegant sofa table with tapered legs and bread board top suitable for many locations in your home. Class will focus on learning mortise and tenon and hand plane techniques. Also learn to create and fit tight bread board ends to keep table tops flat while allowing for wood movement. Intermediate level woodworking experience is suggested. Please contact the wood studio for more information. Materials: A $75 materials fee is due to instructor on first day of class.

Hollis, Tom

Tom Hollis is a biochemist at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He has been making contemporary and period furniture for almost 30 years. Tom has been trained by Lonnie Bird and self-taught.
