This class builds on and continues the lessons from Fundamentals of woodworking (901). (applying hand tool skills, etc, to other power tools in the shop. insights gained from using woodworking hand tools can be applied across all power tool applications and furniture styles. In this four-week course explore: hand planes///power jointers and planers; hand saws & shooting boards///table and miter saws; backsaw & router plane///routers; and hand scrapers///power sanding. Class time will be split between using hands tools and power tools & equipment. Open to students who have taken course 901 or with approval from the woodworking director.
