This class is a continuation of the Introduction to Photoshop or for those who already have basic knowledge of how to use Photoshop, but would like to sharpen your skills and get a bit deeper into what Photoshop can do for photographers. Students will learn how to use more advanced settings for tools and layers to create images that really pop! Topics covered will be blending modes, advanced healing and cloning, compositing images, and exporting images for various uses. Must have a basic knowledge of how to use layers and masks in Photoshop.

Dickson-Yarbrough, Katie

Katie is a full-time, photojournalistic photographer based in Winston-Salem, NC. She received her BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has been perfecting her craft in the field. Katie works mainly as portrait photographer creating headshots for local acting talent and business professionals. She also photographs families, weddings, and editorial assignments. For two years, Katie has been an instructor for the University of North Carolina School of the Arts summer program teaching portrait photography and lighting. http://www.katiedickson.com
