Welding ARC I is the first welding course students should take if not welded before. Students must furnish their own welding equipment. A list is available in the supplies list below. ARC, FluxCore, TIG, & MIG welding courses are offered. There are 3 semesters offered in a year. After completing two semesters, students will receive 144 hours of training and a certificate of completion. Must complete two semesters for a certificate. This course only qualifies as one semester.

- Course Safety Disclaimer – Welding
This course involves the use of industrial welding equipment, torches, grinders, and other related tools that can be inherently dangerous if not used properly. By enrolling in this course, students acknowledge and accept the potential risks associated with welding and metal fabrication activities. Students are required to follow all safety protocols and procedures as instructed at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Failure to adhere to these safety standards may result in disciplinary action and/or personal injury. Any injury sustained as a result of not following the proper safety procedures and instructions provided by the instructor will be the sole responsibility of the student.
