Apprenticeship Class | Registration closed 9/3/2025
This course has a two-semester requirement in order to receive a certificate of completion. Registering for this course will only count as one semester. The student must re-enroll and pay the tuition fee again for their second semester when it becomes available. This class is open to anyone, but in order to sit for your State Board Exam, you will need to be an apprentice for 18 months and complete 3000 clock hours of hands-on training in an approved apprenticeship program with a salon. This course involves hands-on training with cosmetology tools, chemicals, and equipment that may pose inherent risks if not used properly. By enrolling in this course, students acknowledge and accept the potential risks associated with working around heated styling tools, sharp instruments, and chemical products. Students are required to follow all safety protocols and instructor directions at all times, including proper sanitation, chemical handling, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable. Failure to comply with these safety standards may result in disciplinary action and/or personal injury. Any injury sustained as a result of not following the proper safety procedures and instructions provided by the instructor will be the sole responsibility of the student.
