Vladimir Snurenco is a Research Fellow at the Center for Social Flourishing at the Acton Institute, where his work focuses on poverty, human flourishing, subsidiarity, and the moral foundations of economic life. He currently works as a Research and Acquisition Specialist for Poverty Trap, a documentary now being shown at film festivals that examines poverty, social fragmentation, and the unintended consequences of technocratic solutions in the United States. Vladimir recently received an MA in Geographic Information Science from Calvin University and is proud to join the Calvin alumni community as Vladimir Snurenco ’26. Born in the Soviet Union, Snurenco brings an international background in economics, sociology, and public policy to his teaching, writing, and public speaking.
