About twenty-five years ago, Randy Alcorn wrote Heaven, a book that has helped many believers think more deeply about what Scripture teaches — and what we often misunderstand — about our eternal home. His insights can open our eyes to the rich, joy-filled future God has prepared for His people. In this two-session course, we’ll walk through the major themes of Alcorn’s work and consider how they resonate with Scripture. Along the way, you’ll be invited to reflect on your own expectations, questions, and hopes.

Many Christians imagine heaven as one long worship service — beautiful, but hard to picture. Alcorn paints a more expansive biblical vision: a renewed heaven and earth where everything is restored, where life is meaningful and vibrant, and where God’s presence brings wholeness to all things. It’s a place to explore, enjoy, create, and delight in forever. Together, we’ll explore three key themes: a theology of heaven, your big questions about heaven, and living today in light of eternity.
