06-Online-M2026 CO2 Steps Up: A Fresh Take on an Old Gas
May/Summer Course | Available
In this course, we’ll take a down-to-earth look at what happens to carbon dioxide in today’s energy world. You’ll learn how CO2 is captured from industrial sites, what happens when it’s stored deep underground, and why these ideas matter for cleaner energy and a healthier planet. We’ll talk through how CO2 behaves below the surface, the environmental upsides of keeping it there, and how these approaches fit into the bigger picture of reducing emissions. No experience with the oil or energy industry is needed — everything is explained in an easy, accessible way. So anyone curious about how this all works is encouraged to sign up. We will leave time for ample Q&A about this process and the oil industry in general.
