From Office to Oasis: Discover the Children’s Healing Center, Cost $5

Have you ever wondered what’s happening at that beautifully renovated office building on the East Beltline, right next to the Calvin Nature Preserve—where the CALL office used to be? The former Youngsma Building was recently purchased by the Children’s Healing Center (CHS), an organization dedicated to supporting children and young adults (ages 0–26) who are medically vulnerable. CHS offers a wide range of programs, including recreational therapy, culinary and wellness activities, imaginative play, teen and young adult groups, parent respite, and more.

We invite you to join us for a special tour of the Children’s Healing Center on Thursday, October 16 at 3:00 PM. You’ll learn how the space was thoughtfully designed to be a safe haven—free from the everyday concerns of germs—and hear about the unique mission of CHS, the only organization of its kind in the country. The tour will last approximately 1 to 1½ hours, and light refreshments will be served afterward.
