From all over the political spectrum Americans are troubled by the current state of democratic politics. In this session we will consider the indictment of democratic politics offered by that old “accuser” Screwtape, as depicted by C.S. Lewis.

Micah Watson is associate professor and director of the Politics, Philosophy and Economics program at Calvin University. He is also the executive director of the Paul Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics. His research interests include John Locke and the political thought of C.S. Lewis.
