Adam Gross is a magnet fisherman, scuba diver, pyrotechnician, subaquatic archaeologist, and modern-day treasure hunter who explores the waterways of West Michigan. Adam focuses primarily on exploring the Grand River, searching for lost historical artifacts, recovering them, and researching their historical significance, sharing the fascinating stories behind these treasures with the local community. Adam has presented for the Grand Rapids Historical Society and Grand Rapids History Detectives. His remarkable finds have also earned him appearances on both local and international news. Adam began magnet fishing and treasure hunting during the COVID-19 pandemic. In his first summer, he recovered over 8,000 lbs. of scrap metal from the Grand River. He also runs a YouTube channel called Ferrous Fishing, where he shares his adventures and discoveries with a wider audience
