Calvin University Head Football Coach Trent Figg will take us through a three-session course to unpack the ever-changing landscape of college football.?Coach Figg, who has coached at every level of college football, will discuss the impact of the transfer portal, Name Image and Likeness, and what football looks like right here at Calvin University. This course will also cover the impact that football can have on a college campus along with what we have already seen happening on our own campus in the past 24 months since football was approved.

Session 2: College football on a national scale from Division 1 to Division 3

Session 3: The impact of college football on a college campus

“From the start, I’ve made it clear that being a champion isn’t just about football. The time a young man spends playing college football is some of the most formative in a young man’s life, and I refuse to let that time be wasted focusing solely on the game. I’m committed to shaping their character and preparing them to win on the field and in their future roles as husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of faith.”
~ Trent Figg in an op-ed for?The Christian Post
