29-Online-Chicago 20th Century: Power on the Prairie
Fall or Spring Course | Registration opens 1/2/2025 6:00 AM EST
As a follow up to “Chicago, City of the Century,” this class will focus on Chicago’s continued growth into and through the 20th century. Progressivism, urban reform, WWI, the Roaring 20s, the Great Depression, WWII, the Century of Progress, and, of course, “King Richard,” will be some of the topics covered. We will also look at the history of those “tourist attractions” that many of you have visited. Interested persons may also register separately for the June 2 day trip to the “Windy City.” Look for more information under the member events section of this catalog.
