Bobby socks. Letter sweaters. Bell bottoms. Afros. What were the social, political, and technological forces that led to the styles that we wore as teens? Relive the fashions worn by boys and girls from teenage to college years and how those styles reflected the times. Sara Butler, PhD, is Professor Emerita, Department of Art, Miami University, where she taught History of Costume.  She is volunteer Costume Curator and Vice President of the Board of the Butler County Historical Society.
