From a financial perspective, retirement has two phases. The first is accumulating toward retirement; the second is spending through retirement. Strategies that work in the first phase often do not work well in the second. Further, there are solutions to correct shortfalls before retirement begins; but mistakes made during the spending phase are often irreparable. With today’s longevity, many of us will be blessed to see our children’s children. This course addresses the concerns of outliving one’s assets and leaving a legacy.
