The geologic record allows scientists to compare and contrast the natural climate system that has been operating on Earth for billions of years with the anthropogenic climate system operating since 1750. Differences in rate and magnitude between the two help explain the changes we are experiencing and provide predictive models on what the future looks like. Presenter Brenda Hunda, PhD holds degrees in paleontology (BS) and earth sciences (MS and PhD). She is Curator of Invertebrate Paleontology at Cincinnati Museum Center and adjunct professor in the geology department at UC.
